Welcome to University Hospital of North Staffordshire

Each year we care for over 600,000 people who come to us for emergency treatment, planned operations and medical care. We are a teaching hospital in partnership with Keele University and we have a patient-centred clinical research facility providing state-of-the-art facilities. Our new 370 million pound hospital is under construction and will be fully operational in 2012.

Visiting times return to normal

Visiting times at University Hospital have been restored to normal. Restrictions had been in place due to an outbreak of noro virus. Thank you to all our visitors who co-operated with the restriction and helped us clear the virus from our wards. Noro virus is still prevalent in the community and may be brought into the hospital again. If so, we will review and publicise our visiting times.
