Care Quality Commission Scores

As an NHS Trust, we are required to publish a self declaration to the Care Quality Commission (formerly known as the Healthcare Commission) on how we feel we have performed in terms of two key areas: Quality of service and Use of Resources.  

When we have delivered our declaration to the Care Quality Commission (CQC), they examine us themselves to see how they feel we measure up against their core standards.  They then score us on the two key areas of Quality of service and Use of Resources.
