University Hospital's new hospital will be fully operational by October 2012. The move will take place over five phases:

• Phase One - Nov 2011 - Theatres and Critical Care and Surgical Wards moving
• Phase Two - Mar 2012 - Imaging, Nuclear Medicine, Endoscopy, Paediatrics and A&E
• Phase Three/Four - May 2012 - Cardiac Department, Medical & Surgical Outpatients
• Phase Five - Sep 2012 - Pharmacy, Orthopaedic & Fracture Clinic, Pre Assessment and Pathology

The Trust is currently formulating a comprehensive communications plan around the move into the new hospital. We will keep you informed about the latest developments and ensure you and your patients are given the information you need about the services you use.
