Telephone Information Points

Free telephone points are available for the use of patients and visitors throughout the Hospital. These are provided by Info-point, and can be found in the following locations:

1. New Surgical and Paediatric Department (City General site): Main reception area.

2. Royal Infirmary: Main reception area.

3. Hartshill Orthopaedic and Surgical Unit (City General site): Main reception area.

4. Central Outpatients: Main reception area.

5. Ante Natal: Main area.

6. Heart Attack Centre: Main area.

7. The Lower Ground Floor level of the New Surgical & Paediatric Department.

Some of the machines have 6 points on them and others have 12 telephone points. These points link to different numbers relevant to the area you are in. For example, if you use a Telephone Information Point in the Maternity area, the point will have links connected to child birth/care/pregnancy/ support etc.

All the departmental numbers/points can be used free of charge and all the machines have a taxi point on them which you can also use free of charge.
