Smoking
The hospital has a Smoke Free Policy to protect the health and safety of patients, staff and visitors and to comply with national legislation. The policy applies to all staff, patients and visitors.
It is illegal to smoke inside any of the hospital buildings and smoking is also not permitted within the hospital grounds. Please ask a member of staff to provide you with details of the hospital policy.
Many people find that coming into hospital is a good time to give up smoking and you will be given every encouragement to do so.
