Recruitment Drive for New Cancer Centre

University Hospital of North Staffordshire is excited to announce the launch of its recruitment drive in preparation for the opening of the new Cancer Centre in July 2009. The Cancer Centre is a state-of-the-art, purpose built facility providing treatments for haematology and oncology patients.
The new Cancer Centre will see an increase in the number of inpatient beds and treatment chairs, and will increase the Radiotherapy Department to four new state-of-the-art Linear Accelerators. It will also introduce a new Brachytherapy suite and a new inpatient triage facility to allow the direct admission of its patients. The Centre also allows the opportunity to further develop other existing services such as Clinical Trials.
The recruitment drive is now in full swing, with vacancies for permanent and temporary, part-time and full-time Therapy Radiographers and Nurse Practitioners. Successful candidates will be based in the new Cancer Centre and will be required to start as soon as possible in order for training and orientation to take place.
