Membership of University Hospital 

University Hospital is working towards becoming a foundation trust. An important part of being a foundation trust is working with local people and patients to improve what we do and how we do it.

We have not waited to be a foundation trust before we did that though. For the past few years we have been asking patients and the public their views and getting people involved in developing our services. 

We are always looking for ways of finding out what people think about our services and for people to get involved in helping us make improvements.  Click here to find out how we listen to you.

That is where membership comes in. As a member we will let you know the news from the hospital and information about special events. You will be able to give us your comments through surveys and, if you want to get more actively involved, you can join us for one-off events or for longer-term projects.

When we become a foundation trust our governors will be elected by the members.
