Our new hospital
The new hospital being built at the City General site is part of 'Fit for the Future', an ambitious programme to designed to improve the health of people across North Staffordshire. Patients, the public and the NHS are working together to design new services and facilities around what patients need. Our new hospital is the biggest single investment in North Staffordshire healthcare in the 60 years of the NHS. University Hospital of North Staffordshire is investing more than 370 million pounds in the new hospital. By 2012 the hospital should be fully open and construction of the new University Hospital will be complete with:
