Having a baby is a wonderful and exciting experience, but it can also be a challenging one. 

At University Hospital, we aim to make your time with us as rewarding and smooth as possible.

Almost 6,000 babies are born every year in our fantastic new 40 million pound maternity centre.  Our state of the art facilities include care for mum and baby through all the stages of pregnancy.  Our delivery suite contains the most modern theatre facilities, our midwife birth centre has won national awards and the new centre has been widely praised for its light, space and upbeat feel.
