The Medical School, Keele University

University Hospital of North Staffordshire began a partnership with Keele University and Manchester University in September 2002 to offer undergraduate medicine.

The Trust has been successfully collaborating with Keele University since the beginning of the late 1970s. Having successfully delivered the Manchester medical course for a number of years, the new Keele curriculum commenced in September 2007 and is now into the third year of being validated by the General Medical Council (GMC).

At the University Hospital of North Staffordshire Campus, there are two educational buildings - the Keele University Medical School building and the Clinical Education Centre. As well as the usual teaching rooms, the hospital Campus provides clinical skills laboratories and a multi-professional health library.
